I listen to rock music while cooking, something able to match the cooking conditions.

If you could cook for anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?
My family.

What’s your favorite ethnic cuisine?
Thai or Indian

What’s the strangest request you’ve ever had from a diner?
A guest once ordered a personalized pizza with fried calamari and capers with our tomato cream sauce as a base.

What’s the best part about being a chef?
There is never a dull day, everyday presents new opportunities and challenges. 

What’s the most challenging part of being a chef?
Every day is different. There are new challenges daily, some repetitive, some new.

If not a chef in the Pine Belt, what city would you like to work in?
I would probably like to be somewhere abroad, taking in new cultures and experiences.

What’s your favorite “guilty pleasure” food?
Nachos

Who is/was your food mentor?
I have learned a great deal from Sheth Aultman and Clint Taylor.

What’s your favorite food to cook?
My favorite food to cook would be either steaks or burgers. I enjoy grilling while at home.
